Jinjiang Group plans 1 million-tpy alumina project in Shanxi

Jinjiang Group has inked a framework agreement with the government of Puxian County, Shanxi Province to build vertical aluminum processing project there.
Under the agreement, the project will consist of 1 million-tpy alumina, 300,000-tpy aluminum, 200,000-tpy aluminum processing and captive power plants.
With this alumina project, Jinjiang Group takes a step towards backward integration in the aluminium value chain which is becoming very crucial for the metal manufacturers under current volatile market scenario.
