Kaiser Aluminium Corporation, the US-headquartered leading producer of semi-fabricated aluminium products, announced the appointment of James D. Hoffman to its Board of Directors, who would be serving as an independent, Class II director within the Board’s compensation and nominating and corporate governance committees. Mr Hoffman will serve the role until it expires at the 2026 annual meeting of stockholders.

Mr Hoffman brings over 43 years of extensive experience in the metals distribution, fabrication and service centre industries, complemented by a proven track record of strategic insight and visionary leadership. His nearly three decades of executive experience in strategy development, acquisitions and turning strategic visions into results will be instrumental to Kaiser as we further our growth plans. We are confident that his industry knowledge and leadership expertise will be a significant asset as we advance our long-term objectives.”

Mr Hoffman has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Reliance, Inc., formerly known as Reliance Steel and Aluminium Co., from 2019 to 2022. He has over three decades of leadership experience in the metals industry. He also served various key roles like President, Chief Operating Officer, and on the Reliance board. He previously held senior roles at Earl M. Jorgensen Company before its final acquisition by Reliance, Inc. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Marketing from West Virginia University.
