ISO certification boost for Taha

"This important industry certification recognises Taha's commitment to excellence in the GCC region as the new benchmark in aluminium dross management," said managing director Frank Pollmann.
Dross is a waste by-product of aluminium smelting and re-melting. The disposal of toxic dross residues is a growing environmental concern throughout the GCC.
"There is a need for the Gulf's aluminium producers to embrace best practices in how they process their dross residues instead of allowing toxic waste material to be dumped in desert landfill areas," added Mr Pollmann.
"The ISO certification acknowledges that Taha is doing the right thing at the right time in the right manner," said Pollmann. "Our zero waste solution is a win-win for both aluminium producers and the environment."
