
Hindalco Industries Limited has raised the aluminium products price for the second time in a row. With effect from Wednesday, 07 October 2020, the company’s wire rods price has increased to stand at INR 159,850 per tonne, an increase of INR 1,250 per tonne from INR 158,600 per tonne on October 6.

Aluminium billets price stands at INR 155,850 per tonne as of Wednesday, marking a growth of INR 1,750 per tonne from INR 154,600 per tonne on October 6.
Hindalco aluminium ingots price has increased by INR 1,250 per tonne to INR 148,750 per tonne.
The Indian aluminium producers generally link prices of its products to the three-month futures of aluminium on London Metal Exchange. The aluminium price on LME has increased by more than 2% so far in 2020.
Aluminium operations of the company, excluding those of its US arm Novelis Inc, generally account for nearly half of its total sales and 70% of its operating profit.
