Guangdong gets tough on environmental pollution by local aluminium extruders

The government of Foshan City, Guangdong Province, which is home to China’s aluminium extrusion producers, has announced tough measures to curb environmental pollution by local aluminium extrusion producers, Southern Daily reported.
It is required that 80 per cent of aluminium extrusion producers in the city shall install clean energy equipment before October 31, 2016 and all aluminium extrusion producers in the city shall do so before June 30, 2017.
