Chalco and Baosteel sign automotive aluminium sheet cooperation framework

Chalco and Baosteel Group signed a cooperation framework agreement on June 17 over automotive aluminium sheet, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA) said on its website.
According to the agreement, both sides will establish a joint venture in the future to jointly develop, produce and sell automotive aluminium sheet.
The move will be a win-win for Chalco, which has strong technical strength and rich experience in precision aluminium plate/sheet, strip production, and Baosteel Group, which enjoys big market share in high-end automotive steel sheet.
