To alleviate air pollution in China, the Chinese government has implemented various measures, one of which is to control vehicles' tailpipe emissions. Industry professionals, however, point out that tailpipe emissions control fails to touch the core of the problem. Instead, the only way to reduce carbon emission is to shrink the weight of vehicle bodies.

Thanks to its lightweight property, aluminium is used heavily from passenger cars to electric vehicles to reduce body weight and hence emissions. The substantial use of aluminium in transportation creates a new round of opportunities for the lightweight metal. Against the backdrop of environmental protection and rising market demand, China Zhongwang is also seizing this opportunity to realize a win-win situation in corporate social responsibility and economic benefits.
