End-user aluminium sector: Google launches Pixel 7 & 7 Pro with 100% recycled aluminium; Alstom introduces new aluminium welding line at Wroclaw production unit

This week the end-user sector has witnessed various innovations from Google launching Pixel 7 and 7 Pro made with 100 per cent recycled aluminium to Acer claiming to have made the world’s lightest 16-inch OLED laptop having a magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis. The biggest manufacturer and exporter in the Polish railway industry, Alstom, employing almost 4000 people in 11 sites for over 25 years in Poland, has launched an aluminium welding line at its rolling stock production plant in Wrocław. Constructed by Sapor Shipbuilding Industrial Sdn Bhd at a cost of RM20 million, Marine Success can be deemed as Sibu’s first locally built aluminium fast crew boat. Sibu is an inland city in the central region of Sarawak, Malaysia and they reported the launch of this indigenous boat on Wednesday, October 5. COTA is about to serve Ball aluminium cups to audiences all throughout the US Formula One Grand Pix in a quest to curtail the use of one-time plastic cups.

MCP Yachts, a Brazilian shipyard specialised in designing and constructing highly customised aluminium motor yachts, has reportedly launched its 37.4-metre all-aluminium superyacht Queen Tati. As per the report, the yacht is scheduled to be delivered by 2022.

Google is launching its latest series of Pixel phones in India on October 13, Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro.
