DUBAL to recruit 200 UAE nationals during 2013

DUBAL aims to recruit a further 200 UAE nationals in 2013, and is on track to achieve this target: by end-April, said Sultan Al Sabri, Vice President: Human Resources & Organisation Effectiveness.
Sultan Al Sabri advises that 110 UAE nationals were recruited during the course of 2012, bringing the total accumulative number of new Emirati recruits hired by DUBAL since 2008 to 496.
The cost to DUBAL of those newly recruited in 2012 - comprising salaries, benefits and training - amounted to AED 25 million (equivalent to AED 225,000 per annum per new Emirati employee). As further evidence of DUBAL 's commitment to developing UAE national talent, on-going investment in skills development and training resulted in 9.96 training days per UAE national employee in 2012 (up from 9.13 training days in 2011).
DUBAL uses virtually every opportunity to engage UAE Nationals in our country's working population, he says.
