The importance and need for aluminium have only grown in the last decades. According to reports, Novelis Inc., the largest recycler in the world and the top manufacturer of flat-rolled aluminium products, has broken ground and begun building its recycling and rolling factory in Bay Minette, Alabama. AFRY, a leader in engineering, design, and consulting services in Europe, reportedly chose to use artificial intelligence to lessen the environmental impact of aluminium manufacturing for Hydro Extrusion Sweden (AI). ICT Austria presented a unique "jewel" to AMAG Austria Metall AG and ACP Cubido, two leading providers of high-quality cast and rolled aluminium products and data collecting, analysis, and processing software solutions. The creation of a 35kW solar panel system for 3D Aluminium on their facilities in Oxford, a city in central southern England, has been completed by Centreco, the UK's largest installer of solar energy systems for businesses.

Novelis Inc., the leading producer of aluminium flat-rolled products and the world’s largest recycler, had reportedly broken ground and started construction of its recycling and rolling plant in Bay Minette, Alabama. The project costs $2.5 billion, with advanced facilities, and is expected to create up to 1,000 new jobs. The commissioning of the plant is scheduled for mid-2025.
