Alloy Enterprises appoints Haleyanne Freedman as Director of Business Development

Alloy Enterprises, an investor in an additive manufacturing process for producing aluminium components based on sheets, announced the appointment of Haleyanne Freedman in the role of Director of Business Development.

Freedman will lead the company's commercial strategy, oversee the applications engineering division, generate demand, and grow the organisation's sales.

Andie Bedell, the COO and Co-Founder of Alloy Enterprises, said, "Haleyanne brings a proven track record of solving customers' most challenging technical problems with additive manufacturing."

"Her philosophy of integrating sensible and scalable solutions fits seamlessly with our engineering team, and she will be an incredible asset to our organisation."

Over the past several years, Freedman has worked in additive manufacturing, primarily in the polymer industry. As a founding member of M. Holland's additive manufacturing business segment, she helped lead the company's growth.

Haleyanne Freedman said, "The decision to switch from polymers to metals and join the Alloy team was easy."

"I've yet to see an additive technology with incredible potential and applicability for the customers I've worked with for years. There is a significant need for reliable, cost-effective aluminium components, and I cannot wait to bring this game-changing technology to market."

Freedman has worked in mechanical and polymer engineering fields with experience in a wide range of printing methods and platforms. Additionally, she is Vice Chair of Women in Manufacturing and North American Women in 3D Printing Committee Chair. A member of the Society of Plastics Engineers Additive Manufacturing TIG, she serves on its Board of Directors.
