Kolkata-based Aludecor has established itself as India’s leading aluminium composite panel provider by opening its third manufacturing unit in Haridwar on October 10. Aludecor has invested INR 110 crores in materialising its third manufacturing facility in Haridwar, which has been estimated to yield more than 350 direct job positions in the locality.
Aludecor became the first ACP-producing organisation in the Indian sub-continent to introduce auxiliary coil coating services in 2006. Now it boasts having the highest coil coating capacity in the country. The company has a region of 35,000 sq. Mt., along which three of its manufacturing units are heavily spread, enhanced with an aluminium coil coating capacity of 22,000 metric tonnes annually.
Commemorating the event, the Chairman & Managing Director of Aludecor, Shri Ashok Kumar Bhaiya, exemplified: “Aludecor is the first façade product manufacturer in India to have in-house manufacturing facility of Aluminium Honeycomb core with backward integration process for the forward integration of Honeycomb Panels. As a truly ‘Make in India’ organisation, we’ll now be producing Honeycomb Panel indigenously here.”
The honeycomb panel market has seen a rising demand in the last few years owing to the increased developments in the defence, railways, aerospace, marine and other industrial areas. Honeycomb panels and any kind of metal composite panels have a huge market in India due to the numerous constructional projects.
Moreover, due to the use of aluminium, the honeycomb panels are usually lightweight but extremely strong, which makes them the most feasible option for the end-user sector. Aluminium, on the other hand, can be recycled infinitely without losing the base properties of the non-ferrous metal, making it more suitable than steel or any other commonly used metal.
For the past two decades, Aludecor has been supplying both Government and Corporate sectors around India with sturdy aluminium composite panels. The company has constantly been trying to discover new ways of research and development, mastering innovative products along the path.
“As a Pioneer in ACP Industry today, we have always been playing significant role to bring the advanced technology that ultimately results in best-in-class products & customer delight,” Bhaiya goes on to illustrate.
Aludecor leads the Indian ACP Manufacturing Industry with customers in significant sectors like the Indian Railways, BPCL, IOCL, Kia Motors, Maruti Suzuki and Tata Steels.
