Novelis Inc., the global leader of flat-rolled aluminium products and recycler of aluminium, will provide aluminium can sheets for The Coca-Cola Company's family of iconic brands to Coca-Cola's approved North American bottlers under the new long-term agreement. Alcoa's Casting House, located in Lafayette, Indiana, is the world's biggest aluminium-lithium factory. The factory, which cost $90 million and took two years to complete, is located on a 170-acre multi-building tract. Impression Technologies Limited (ITL) of Coventry and EMI Aerospace (EMI) of Michigan have struck a licencing and technical services agreement to create innovative aluminium structures for worldwide aerospace industries utilising Hot Form Quench (HFQ) technology. On May 17, 2023, the Aluminium Secondary Manufacturers Association (ASMA) held a conference on 'Global Trade, Sustainability, and Competitiveness of Indian Downstream Aluminium Industry in the Presence of CBAM' at the India International Centre in New Delhi.

Novelis Inc., the world's leading aluminium flat-rolled producer and recycler, signed a new long-term contract with Coca-Cola Bottlers' Sales & Services Co (CCBSS), the contractual agent for Coca-Cola Co.'s authorised North American bottlers. Under this agreement, Novelis will provide Coca-Cola's official North American bottlers with aluminium can sheet for The Coca-Cola Company's family of famous brands.

Aluminium Secondary Manufacturers Association (ASMA) conducted a seminar on 'Global Trade, Sustainability and Competitiveness of Indian Downstream Aluminium Industry in presence of CBAM' on May 17, 2023, at India International Centre, New Delhi. The seminar was about introspecting the burning issue of CBAM and analysing the Government's initiatives and strategy to tackle the matter, ensuring the industry's growth.
