On Monday, February 13, Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) announced the joining of Deco Australia as a Downstream Supporter member. Deco is a family-run firm in Australia that produces superior surface treatments and architectural construction materials made of aluminium.
In addition to their premium DecoWood® aluminium finish, which they introduced to the architectural market in 2004, Deco Australia now offers a variety of cutting-edge and long-lasting aluminium building systems, such as cladding, battens, decking, and fencing, as well as an expanded selection of architectural finishes, such as rust-look, concrete-look, solid colour, and anodised finishes.
"DECO Australia is an innovative manufacturer of quality aluminium building products and protective finishes. At DECO we are continuously striving to better our business, and we seek actively to surround ourselves with partners that we can collaborate with to meet our collective sustainable development goals. Becoming an ASI member is an exciting opportunity as we continue to develop and pursue best practices for a more sustainable future for all," said Richard Hamber, General Manager of DECO Australia.
To provide the best protection for metal parts and components in various sectors, they started offering a larger selection of protective coatings and speciality finishes in 2018. Deco plays a significant role in the sustainability of the industrial sector by providing a broad range of finishes to fit project demands, including anodising, hard anodising, powder coating, and specialised and custom finishing. Today, various sectors use and purchase Deco's goods and finishes, including construction, transportation, automotive, engineering, cookware, health care, pharmaceuticals, mining, and defence.
