Cita Mineral Builds Smelter in West Kalimantan

Bauxite mining company PT Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk (CITA) established a joint venture company with companies from China and Hong Kong to develop an alumina smelter in West Kalimantan. Yusak Lumba Pardede, Corporate Secretary of Cita Mineral, said the smelter will have capacity of two tons per year.
Yusak said Cita Mineral and the company’s subsidiary will supply bauxite for the smelter. Cita Mineral, allowing with China Hongqiao Group Limited, Winning Investment Company Limited and PT Danpac Resources Kalbar, established PT Well Harvest Winning Aluminum Refinery as the joint venture company.
