
As updated by Shanghai Metals Market, social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, dropped this week. The stocks declined by 29,000 tonnes from the week before to 890,000 tonnes as of Thursday, 17 June 2021.

Primary aluminium stocks in Wuxi and Nanhai reduced by 17,000 tonnes and 1,000 tonnes from last Thursday to stand at 347,000 tonnes and 231,000 tonnes on Thursday, 17 June 2021. Shanghai, Hangzhou and Tianjin stocks remained unchanged at 89,000 tonnes, 92,000 tonnes and 61,000 tonnes.
Inventories of primary aluminium in Gongyi, Chongqing and Linyi stood at 54,000 tonnes, 3,000 tonnes and 13,000 tonnes on Thursday, 17 June 2021. That was down 9,000 tonnes, 1,000 tonnes and 1,000 tonnes from 63,000 tonnes, 4,000 tonnes and 14,000 tonnes on Thursday, 10 June 2021.
