China’s High Purity Aluminium Capacity Raised to 140,000tons

Inner Mongolia New Yangtze River Mining’s high purity aluminium project has come into operation recently.The project has an annual output of 420,00tons which is the most productive high purity aluminium project in China. It has raised China’s capacity of high purity aluminium to 140,000tons from 2010’s 100,000tons.
High purity aluminium is mostly used in producing electronic aluminium foil. In the past, three-layer liquid electrolytic method was widely used. Since 1970s, the segregation method emerged and developed rapidly. Japan has become an representative for applying segregation method to produce high purity aluminium. Its segregation technology is relatively advanced and its output is the world’s largest.
Currently,there are 7 companies who are able to produce high purity aluminium including Xinjiang Joinworld Co.,Ltd,Baotou Aluminium, HMJH Aluminium, Shanxin Guanlv,HEC Aluminium,Chalco Guizhou Branch and Shenhuo Aluminium.Among them,Xinjiang Joinworld and Baotou Aluminium can use segregation method,and others apply three-layer liquid electrolytic method.
