China’s aluminium price inches up to RMB 20100/t; expected to range at RMB 20080-20120/t

SMM aluminium ingot price stands at RMB 20100 per tonne on Friday, 20 August 2021, representing an increase of RMB 20 per tonne from Thursday’s price of RMB 20080 per tonne. The price is expected to move within a range of RMB 20080-20120 per tonne.

In Wuxi, the price has increased by RMB 85 per tonne to stand at RMB 20115 per tonne on Friday, August 20, 2021. In Hangzhou and Chongqing, the price has edged up by RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 20130 per tonne and RMB 20140 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang and Tianjin have increased to stand at RMB 20085 per tonne and RMB 20120 per tonne on Friday, August 20, an increase of RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne.

Raw materials price of alumina, Australian Alumina FOB Price, Prebaked Anode Central, and Al Fluoride have remained unchanged at RMB 2667 per tonne, USD 300 per tonne, RMB 4565 per tonne and RMB 7800 per tonne as of Friday, August 20, 2021.
