China’s alumina and aluminium prices rise by RMB 20/t and RMB 30/t

The average alumina prices in four major markets have witnessed growth on Friday, 30 August 2019. The average spot alumina price stands at RMB 2520 per tonne, up RMB 20 per tonne from the previous average alumina price of RMB 2500 per tonne.

Alumina price in East China is hovering around RMB 2530 per tonne. Alumina Central China and North China stand at RMB 2520 per tonne and RMB 2540 per tonne, up RMB 20 per tonne each from its earlier price. Alumina South China is up by RMB 15 per tonne at RMB 2460 per tonne as on August 30.

A00 aluminium ingot price has edged higher by RMB 30 per tonne from Thursday August 29 to stand at RMB 14290 per tonne as of Friday, 30 August 2019. The average price is expected to move within a range of RMB14270-14310 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price in Foshan records the highest growth at RMB 14330 per tonne today. In Wuxi, aluminium ingot price has risen by RMB 30 per tonne to stand at RMB 14295 per tonne; Hangzhou aluminium price stands at RMB 14310 per tonne; Chongqing aluminium price is at RMB 14300 per tonne (+10 per tonne); and Shenyang aluminium price is at RMB 14280 per tonne, up RMB 30 per tonne.

Aluminium price in Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi stand at RMB 14270 per tonne, RMB 14300 per tonne, and RMB 14190 per tonne as of Friday, 30 August 2019.
