China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slumps by RMB90/t; Average alumina spot price slips by RMB4/t

On Tuesday, September 13, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China went down by RMB 90 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,710 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 18,690 per tonne and RMB 18,730 per tonne. The spot contract will likely be traded at a discount price of RMB 60 to RMB 20 per tonne.
The price in Foshan and Gongyi has descended by RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 110 per tonne to close at RMB 18,650 per tonne and RMB 18,590 per tonne. On the same day, in Hangzhou and Chongqing, the A00 aluminium ingot price decreased by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 18,730 per tonne and RMB 18,720 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the price in Wuxi and Shenyang has slumped by RMB 90 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,690 per tonne, respectively. In Linyi, the aluminium ingot price also experienced the same cut to halt at RMB 18,710 per tonne. In Tianjin, the price slipped by RMB 20 per tonne to record at RMB 18,730 per tonne.
The average alumina spot price went down by RMB 4 per tonne to the rest at RMB 2,941 per tonne. The price in Shandong and Shanxi slipped by RMB 5 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to come in at RMB 2,915 per tonne and RMB 2,880 per tonne.

The high purity alumina (99.99%) price and high purity alumina (99.996%) price dropped by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has contracted by RMB 125 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,253 per tonne. The aluminium powder price inched down by RMB 0.1 per kg to settle at RMB 20.7 per kg, with the average price ranging between RMB 20.6 per kg and RMB 20.8 per kg.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has descended by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,100 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 20,000 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne. On the other hand, the aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price showed no change to settle at RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne.
