China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slides up the graph by RMB60/t; High purity aluminium price obtains RMB100/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has heightened by RMB 60 per tonne to close at RMB 18,460 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Thursday, September 8. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,440 per tonne and RMB 18,480 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at discount prices of RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne.
The provinces in China have witnessed a hike in aluminium prices today, with A00 aluminium ingot price increasing the highest in Linyi by RMB 110 per tonne to RMB 18,510 per tonne, followed by an RMB 90 per tonne rise in Tianjin to RMB 18,510 per tonne. The prices of aluminium in Chongqing and Foshan have recorded an RMB 70 per tonne upward strike to settle at RMB 18,480 per tonne and RMB 18,390 per tonne. The aluminium prices have seen a spike of RMB 60 per tonne in Wuxi and Hangzhou to rest at RMB 18,440 per tonne and RMB 18,490 per tonne. The primary aluminium price in Shenyang has gained RMB 55 per tonne to close at RMB 18,460 per tonne. Only in Gongyi the aluminium price has RMB 40 per tonne added to it, closing at RMB 18,380 per tonne.
In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium escalated by RMB 70 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,003 per tonne on Thursday, September 8.
According to the data shown by SMM, high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have been increased by RMB 100 per tonne each to rest at RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne, respectively.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has shot up by RMB 100 per tonne arriving at RMB 19,850 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne, says SMM.
The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have heightened by RMB 100 per tonne coming in at RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) hovered between RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,300 per tonne. The cost of aluminium alloy (A380) hit the RMB 20,100 per tonne to RMB 20,300 per tonne range.
The aluminium powder price in China has gained RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 20.50 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.40 per kg and 20.60 per kg.
