China’s A00 aluminium ingot price recedes by RMB80/t; Alumina price in Guangxi loses RMB15/t
A00 aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 80 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,630 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Wednesday, September 14. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,610 per tonne and RMB 18,650 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at discount prices of RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne.
The provinces in China have witnessed a downfall in aluminium prices today, with A00 aluminium ingot prices decreasing the highest in Wuxi and Hangzhou by RMB 70 per tonne to RMB 18,620 per tonne and RMB 18,660 per tonne, followed by RMB 60 per tonne slump in Foshan and Chongqing to RMB 18,590 per tonne and RMB 18,660 per tonne. The price of aluminium in Tianjin has recorded an RMB 50 per tonne drop to settle at RMB 18,680 per tonne. The aluminium prices have seen a dip of RMB 40 per tonne in Gongyi and Linyi to rest at RMB 18,550 per tonne and RMB 18,670 per tonne. Only in Shenyang, the aluminium price has shed RMB 30 per tonne to close at RMB 18,660 per tonne.
In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has lost RMB 60 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,193 per tonne on Wednesday, September 14.
According to the data shown by SMM, high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have declined by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 26,800 per tonne and RMB 27,800 per tonne, respectively.
The average alumina price in China has decreased by RMB 3 per tonne to RMB 2,938 per tonne, while the alumina price in Henan has dropped by RMB 5 per tonne, closing at RMB 3,020 per tonne. The alumina price in Guangxi has descended by RMB 15 per tonne to RMB 2,925 per tonne today.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price tumbled by RMB 100 per tonne arriving at RMB 20,000 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,900 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne, says SMM.
The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have shown no alteration at all.
The aluminium powder price in China has gained RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 20.60 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.50 per kg and 20.70 per kg.
