LME aluminium price climbs up the graph by US$21/t to US$2,309.50/t; SHFE price drops by US$47/t
LME aluminium opened at US$2,298 per tonne on Tuesday and closed at US$2,306 per tonne, up 1.03 per cent.
On Tuesday, September 13, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price increased by US$21 per tonne or 0.91 per cent to close at US$2,309 per tonne and US$2,309.50 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price went up by US$16 per tonne or 0.69 per cent and US$17 per tonne or 0.73 per cent, to rest at US$2,325 per tonne and US$2,326.50 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price surged by US$63 per tonne or 2.68 per cent and 2.67 per cent to stop at US$2,410 per tonne and US$2,415 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock closed at 332900 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants were recorded at 258775 tonnes and 74125 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price went up by US$6.97 per tonne or 0.30 per cent to settle at US$2,306.07 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Wednesday, September 14, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price declined by US$47 per tonne or 1.72 per cent to record at US$2,671 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2210 aluminium closed up 0.13 per cent or RMB 25 per tonne to RMB 18,765 per tonne, with open interest down 822 lots to 173,842 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2210 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,790 per tonne overnight before closing at RMB 18,680 per tonne, down RMB 110 per tonne or 0.59 per cent.
