China’s A00 aluminium ingot price loses RMB190/t today; Alumina spot price inches up by RMB1/t

A00 aluminium ingot price in China has witnessed a plunge of RMB 190 per tonne on July 12, Tuesday. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price has precisely settled at RMB 17,990 per tonne, with average prices estimated to range between RMB 17,970 per tonne and RMB 18,010 per tonne and spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 40 per tonne.

The primary aluminium ingot price in Chongqing has recorded a maximum decrease of RMB 260 per tonne to RMB 17,920 per tonne, followed by an RMB 210 per tonne decline in Foshan to RMB 17,850 per tonne. In Wuxi and Gongyi, the A00 aluminium ingot price has nosedived by RMB 180 per tonne to come in at RMB 17,920 per tonne and RMB 17,990 per tonne, respectively. The price in Hangzhou has suffered a loss of RMB 190 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,030 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin the primary aluminium ingot prices have witnessed an RMB 200 per tonne downfall to settle at RMB 18,010 per tonne and RMB 18,030 per tonne, respectively, noted SMM on Tuesday, July 12. The price of A00 aluminium ingot price dropped the lowest in Linyi by RMB 160 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,120 per tonne.

Today in China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has shrunk by RMB 200 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,453 per tonne.

According to data shown by SMM, the high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and the high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have plummeted by RMB 200 per tonne to stop at RMB 26,000 per tonne and RMB 27,000 per tonne, respectively.

The alumina spot price inched up by RMB 1 per tonne to RMB 2,964 per tonne. Alumina price in Henan saw a rise of RMB 5 per tonne with final price resting at RMB 3,025 per tonne. In Guizhou, the alumina price declined by RMB 5 per tonne standing at RMB 2,920 per tonne.

Today, due to the declining primary aluminium ingot price, the aluminium alloy (A356) price has faced a downward inclination of RMB 200 per tonne, arriving at RMB 19,050 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 18,900 per tonne and RMB 19,200 per tonne, says SMM.

The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have slumped by RMB 150 per tonne to close at RMB 18,250 per tonne and RMB 19,250 per tonne, respectively. The average prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) are expected to hover between RMB 18,150 per tonne and RMB 18,350 per tonne, while the average prices of aluminium alloy (A380) are like to range between RMB 19,150 per tonne and RMB 19,350 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price in China has lost RMB 0.20 per kg to settle at RMB 19.80 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 19.70 per kg and 19.90 per kg.
