China’s A00 aluminium ingot price loses RMB100/t to RMB18,470/t; Aluminium powder price inches down by RMB0.1/kg

On Monday, February 13, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price opened the week with a fall of RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,470 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,450 per tonne and RMB 18,490 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 50 to RMB 10 per tonne. On a W-o-W calculation, the A00 aluminium ingot price dropped by RMB 280 per tonne from RMB 18,750 recorded Monday.

The A00 aluminium ingot price has decreased in all the major provinces. The highest has been witnessed in Foshan and Chongqing, where the prices dropped by RMB 110 per tonne to close at RMB 18,460 per tonne and RMB 18,490 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Shenyang, Tianjin and Linyi dipped by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,500 per tonne and RMB 18,520 per tonne. As per the SMM data, prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou scored at RMB 18,465 per tonne and RMB 18,480 per tonne after recording a slip of RMB 95 per tonne and RMB 90 per tonne. The price in Gongyi has slumped by RMB 60 per tonne to a halt at RMB 18,380 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has decreased by RMB 110 per tonne, stopping at RMB 19,042 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.996%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have descended by RMB 100 per tonne to score at RMB 26,400 per tonne and RMB 27,400 per tonne.

The aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.1 per kg to halt at RMB 20.2 per kg, with the average prices ranging between RMB 20.1 per kg to RMB 20.3 per kg. The price of aluminium alloys (A356) has moved down by RMB 100 per tonne to clock in at RMB 19,600 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne.
