China’s A00 aluminium ingot price grows by RMB80/t to RMB 19,110/t; Low carbon aluminium price hikes to RMB 19,782/t
On Thursday, April 20, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price spiked up by RMB 80 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,110 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 10 to RMB 50 per tonne. The average price is expected to range between RMB 19,090 per tonne and RMB 19,130 per tonne.
The price in Gongyi has hiked by RMB 90 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,990 per tonne. In Wuxi and Linyi, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have increased by RMB 80 to settle at RMB 19,110 per tonne. Chongqing also experienced the same price cut to reside at RMB 19,160 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Foshan and Hangzhou have ascended by RMB 70 per tonne to score at RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 19,120 per tonne. On the same day, the A00 aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang and Tianjin have grown by RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to reach RMB 19,060 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has surged by RMB 70 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,782 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have escalated by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has grown by RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 20,000 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne. On the other hand, both aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) price have shown no change at RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne.
The aluminium powder price has moved up by RMB 0.06 per kg to close at RMB 21.06 per kg, with the average prices orbiting between RMB 21 to RMB 21.12 per tonne.
