China’s A00 aluminium ingot price gains RMB80/t; Alumina price in Shanxi drops RMB5/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 80 per tonne to close at RMB 18,480 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Tuesday, August 9. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,460 per tonne and RMB 18,500 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at discount prices of RMB 110 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne.
The provinces in China have witnessed a hike in aluminium prices today, with A00 aluminium ingot price rising the highest in Shenyang by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 18,400 per tonne, followed by RMB 85 per tonne growth in Hangzhou to RMB 18,490 per tonne. The primary aluminium prices in Wuxi and Chongqing have escalated by RMB 80 per tonne to close at RMB 18,440 per tonne and RMB 18,380 per tonne. The primary aluminium price in Foshan has gained RMB 70 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,310 per tonne. The primary aluminium prices in Tianjin and Linyi rose the second lowest by RMB 60 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,460 per tonne each, and finally, the primary aluminium price in Gongyi jumped up RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,330 per tonne.
In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has expanded by RMB 76 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,924 per tonne on Tuesday, August 9.
According to the data shown by SMM, high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have been augmented by RMB 100 per tonne each to rest at RMB 26,600 per tonne and RMB 27,600 per tonne, respectively.
Among input prices, the average spot price of alumina dropped RMB 1 per tonne to rest at RMB 2,966 per tonne. The price of alumina in Shanxi shed RMB 5 per tonne, closing at RMB 2,910 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has gone up the graph by RMB 100 per tonne arriving at RMB 19,600 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne, says SMM.
The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have heightened by RMB 50 per tonne coming in at RMB 18,550 per tonne and RMB 19,550 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) hovered between RMB 18,450 per tonne and RMB 18,650 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A380) hit the RMB 19,450 per tonne to RMB 19,650 per tonne range.
The aluminium powder price in China has gained RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 20.30 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.20 per kg and 20.40 per kg.
