China’s A00 aluminium ingot price ascends by RMB110/t to RMB 19,050/t; Low carbon aluminium price hikes to RMB19,898/t

On Thursday, March 7, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price gained RMB 110 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,050 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount of RMB 60 to RMB 20 per tonne. The average prices may stand between RMB 19,030 per tonne and RMB 19,070 per tonne.

On the same day, the aluminium ingot prices grew in all the provinces except in Chongqing, where they dropped by RMB 120 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,910 per tonne. As per the data, the price in Linyi has hiked by RMB 130 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,050 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 120 per tonne in Wuxi to arrive at RMB 19,050 per tonne. In Gongyi, Shenyang and Hangzhou, the prices have added RMB 110 per tonne to reach RMB 18,930 per tonne, RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,050 per tonne. In Foshan and Tianjin the prices have gained RMB 100 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,040 per tonne and RMB 19,030 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has increased by RMB 116 per tonne to RMB 19,898 per tonne. According to the SMM data, the price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) has risen by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 26,500 per tonne and RMB 27,500 per tonne, respectively.

As per the SMM data, the price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A356) have increased by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 19,650 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to stand between RMB 20,000 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne. The average price for (A356) is expected to orbit between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne.

On the same day, the price of aluminium alloy (A380) increased by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 21,100 per tonne, with the average price between RMB 21,000 per tonne and RMB 21,200 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB0.1 per kg to settle at RMB 21.5 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 21.4 per kg and RMB 21.6 per kg.
