China Zhongwang listed as No. 1 in Top 100 Science and Technology Innovation Enterprises in Liaoyang

Recently, Science and Technology Bureau of Liaoyang Municipal City (the “Science and Technology Bureau”) announced the list of "Top 100 Science and Technology Innovation Enterprises in Liaoyang City”. China Zhongwang was listed as No.1.

The Science and Technology Bureau praised China Zhongwang, saying that the Group kept its efforts in “promoting structural optimization with increased production, and enhancing industrial upgrade with innovation”. Sitting on its current situation, the Group cultivates the innovation teams, accelerates the innovation development strategies, and commits to the development of “new, professional and specialized” technological products. The Group’s three new technologies were awarded the Liaoyang Scientific Technology Awards, namely 7N01 aluminium alloy component processing technology for high-speed train corbels, manufacturing technology of LC13-071 die for 7xxx alloy extrusions and welding technology for aluminium compartment bodies of high-speed trains. The Group achieved remarkable results in scientific innovation in new products and technologies, and speeding up the industrial transformation and upgrade.

China Zhongwang attaches great importance to scientific and technological innovation works since its establishment. According to the 2015 Interim report, the Group completed the development of six new products, was granted eleven patents, and won four technology awards at municipal level. The Group also undertook five new technology research projects at national, provincial and municipal levels, including the national industry revitalization and technology upgrade projects.

In addition, China Zhongwang’s high value-added aluminium flat rolled product project in Tianjin will soon commence production. The first production line will focus on the production of medium-to-high thickness aluminium plates, including the plates used in transportation sector including aviation and aerospace, vessels, commercial vehicles and railway vehicles, as well as plates for chemical vessels.
