China: Hongtai Aluminium builds 1Mt/yr aluminium plant

Hongtai Aluminium is building a RMB29 billion integrated aluminium facility at Baiyin City with a combined capacity of 1Mt/yr primary aluminium, 500kt/yr carbon, 400kt/yr al-based alloy billet and 100kt/yr high purity aluminium.
The plant has a 2gW captive power plant and produces 15Mt/yr of coal.
