Chalco targets high-end aluminium applications

Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco) will break ground on its aluminium precision processing project in China’s east coastal province Fujian in September, reported industry sources.
The project, with total investment at 10 billion yuan ($1.53 billion), will produce automotive aluminium sheet, construction aluminium formwork, as well as aluminium product used in high-end electronics, the sources added.
