Boat smart ring arrives in the Indian market with high-quality ceramic and metal construct

Boat has announced the arrival of its brand new smart ring in India to begin a healthy competition with the Noise Luna Ring, which was unveiled in July 2023. The Boat smart ring will flaunt an exemplary ceramic and metal construction with it being attested for 5 ATM water-resisting abilities. While traditional ceramic raw materials contain clay minerals such as kaolinite, more recent versions are formulated with aluminium oxide or alumina.

The Boat smart ring will come stuffed with extended features like gesture commands, tracking systems, and emergency protocols. The device will come equipped with special health tracking solutions, wherein, SpO2 and heart rate can be measured. Additionally, these rings will aid in tracking menstrual cycles. The battery gives unlimited service for up to 7 days, after which it needs to be recharged.

The device will be available in three prime sizes that appeal to people with minimalist lifestyles:

With a state-of-the-art ceramic and metal construct, the Boat smart ring is also sustainable. During music playbacks, one can simply use gestures or finger movements on the screen to pause, play, and change songs. In fact, a user can use similar motions to take a picture through the connected smartphone, making group selfies an easier job.

Ceramics usually contain clay materials like kaolinite but more recently, aluminium oxide or alumina is being used as the base material to give an extra shine to the final object. The Boat smart ring has a shiny outlook due to the use of ceramic and other metallic ingredients as raw materials.

On the health front, Boat smart rings have been integrated to flash a user’s overall activities, from steps taken to calories burnt. The ring can also raise SOS alarms if the user is in dire need of it. The rings can be used as active trackers and the associated numbers can be monitored through Boat’s Ring app, available on the App Store and Google Play Store. The only thing is, Boat smart rings would be made available through Amazon and Flipkart.
