Banyard Aluminium Billet Induction Boost Heater gets full acceptance at Hydro Extrusion Plant in USA

The European manufacturing and technical headquarters for Banyard, Inductotherm Heating & Welding Ltd, has prevailed their gratification post the full acceptance to the production of Banyard Aluminium Billet Induction Boost Heater at the Hydro Extrusion plant, Cressona, USA.

Patronising the thorough prosperous installation of this system at Hydro Tonder in Denmark in 2019, Hydro Extrusion acknowledged the remarkable production utility that this additional installation would bring to their plant in the United States.

The system integrates the innovative Banyard LFi 800kW Smart System in concurrence with a Multi-Zone Coil Induction Boost Heater for 10” Aluminium billets and zero friction handling system and is adaptable with a second unit, as planned production escalates.

The UK based Banyard team have worked firmly with Inductotherm team-mates at EMSCO USA to install and deployed the task.

The company said: “We would like to take this opportunity to recognise the contribution of our Italian specialist partners who, in conjunction with ourselves, provided Hydro Cressona a full turn-key solution for their new 45MN press and extrusion plant.”

“We are pleased to announce our attendance at ET’ 21. The International Aluminum Extrusion Technology Seminar to happen in Florida, USA 11^th- 13th May’21. We will present our latest Banyard technology – including the latest generation of Banyard LFi Smart Systems in addition to a new technical paper presentation.”
