Average alumina spot price in China descends by RMB 23/t to close at RMB 3,414/t; Aluminium Fluoride price surges by RMB 500/t

The average alumina spot price in China has opened the week on Monday, November 29, dropping down by RMB 23 per tonne or 0.66 percent to come in at RMB 3,414 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market.

The average alumina price in Guangxi has plunged by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 3,250 per tonne. For Henan and Shanxi, the price plummeted by RMB 25 per tonne and RMB 15 per tonne to close at RMB 3,425 per tonne, respectively. For provinces like Shandong and Guizhou, the price remained restrained to come in at RMB 3,500 per tonne and RMB 3,375 per tonne. The average alumina price in Lianyungang the price remained restrained and stood at RMB 3,150 per tonne. In Bayuquan also the price remained the same and settled at RMB 3,200 per tonne.

Australian alumina FOB price has remained the same and was recorded at US$385 per tonne, as of Monday, November 29.

Amidst the declining of the prices, the price of Aluminium Fluoride on the other hand has surged by RMB 500 per tonne to come in at RMB 12,500 per tonne, as of November 29. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 12,000 per tonne and 13,000 per tonne.

The A00 aluminium ingot price has reduced by RMB 430 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,810 per tonne, as of November 29. The average prices for the same are expected to scale between RMB 18,790 per tonne and RMB 18,830 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 140-100 per tonne.

In Gongyi and Foshan, the primary aluminium ingot prices moved down by RMB 400 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,760 per tonne and RMB 18, 930 per tonne, respectively. In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the prices shrank by RMB 375 per tonne and RMB 370 per tonne to total at RMB 18,815 per tonne and RMB 18,820 per tonne, respectively. This was followed by the decrease in price for Chongqing by RMB 310 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,910 per tonne. In Shenyang as well the prices fell by RMB 360 per tonne to total at RMB 18,860 per tonne, as of November 29. For the same day the primary aluminium ingot price in Tianjin and Linyi, descended by RMB 360 per tonne and RMB 420 per tonne to score at RMB 18,810 per tonne and 18,880 per tonne, respectively.

Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price has decreased by RMB 150 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,050 per tonne, as of November 29. According to SMM, the average prices for ACD12 are expected to stay between RMB 19,950 per tonne and RMB 20,150 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) and (A380) prices have also nosedived by RMB 500 per tonne and RMB 150 per tonne to total at RMB 21,150 per tonne and RMB 21,250 per tonne. For A356, the average prices are expected to range between RMB 21,100 per tonne and RMB 21,200 per tonne. For A380, it is expected to stand between RMB 21,150 per tonne and RMB 21,350 per tonne.
