Average alumina spot price in China decreases by RMB 59/t to stand at RMB 3,437/t; Aluminium Fluoride price ascends by RMB 500/t

The average alumina spot price on November 26 has decreased by RMB 59 per tonne or 1.68 percent to stand at RMB 3,437 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market.

The average alumina price in Lianyungang and Bayuquan has nosedived by RMB 400 and RMB 375 per tonne to close at RMB 3,150 per tonne and RMB 3,200 per tonne, respectively. In Guizhou and Guangxi, the price has shrunk by RMB 100 per tonne to total at RMB 3,375 per tonne and RMB 3,350 per tonne, respectively. In Shandong, the average alumina spot price has levelled down by RMB 75 per tonne to stand at RMB 3,500 per tonne. For Henan and Shanxi, the price has moved down by RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 3,440 per tonne.

Australian alumina FOB price has remained restrained and stands at US$385 per tonne, as of Friday, November 26.

Among other Primary Aluminium input costs, Aluminium Fluoride price, on the other hand, has increased by RMB 500 per tonne to total at 12,000 per tonne, as of November 26. The average prices are expected to stand between RMB 11,500 per tonne and RMB 12,500 per tonne.

The A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 80 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,240 per tonne, as of November 26. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,220 per tonne and RMB 19,260 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 110-70 per tonne.

In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the primary aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 140 per tonne to close at RMB 19,190 per tonne, respectively. In Chongqing and Shenyang, the price has decreased by RMB 80 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,220 per tonne. This was followed by the decrease in price for Gongyi by RMB 80 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,160 per tonne. In Foshan also, the price has descended by RMB 60 per tonne to close at RMB 19,330 per tonne. In Tianjian and Linyi, the price has dropped by RMB 110 per tonne and RMB 90 per tonne to close at RMB 19,170 and RMB 19,300 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (ACD12) price has plummeted by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 20,200 per tonne, as of November 26. According to SMM, the average prices for ACD12 are likely to range between RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) and (A380) prices have also plunged by RMB 200 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 21,650 per tonne and RMB 21,400 per tonne. For A356, the average prices are expected to range between RMB 21,600 per tonne and RMB 21,700 per tonne. For A380, it is expected to range between RMB 21,300 per tonne and RMB 21,500 per tonne.
