Alumaze opens its new ACP manufacturing unit in Visakhapatnam
On Friday, June 30, Alumaze announced the opening of its new manufacturing facility for Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) in Visakhapatnam. Alumaze Managing Director Pawan Hirawat said the firm was founded with a 50 crore investment to fabricate ACP sheets in Ravada hamlet of Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district. Construction was finished in a record-breaking eight months, although production has recently begun. As part of the UK government's £55m Industrial Fuel Switching Competition, the larger regional HyNet initiative, and the £1bn Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP), Novelis has been granted £4.6 million to carry out hydrogen burning experiments.
