LME aluminium opened at US$2,161 per tonne last Friday, with its low and high at US$2,134 per tonne and US$2,179 per tonne, respectively, before closing at US$2,156 per tonne, a drop of US$5 per tonne or 0.23 per cent.
On Friday, June 30, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dipped by US$9 per tonne or 0.42 per cent to score at US$2,096 per tonne and US$2,096.50 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price fell by US$9 per tonne or 0.41 per cent and US$10.5 per tonne or 0.48 per cent to halt at US$2,141 per tonne and US$2,141.50 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price slipped by US$8 per tonne or 0.34 per cent to stop at US$2,302 per tonne and US$2,307 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock closed at 543150 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants came in at 271475 tonnes and 271675 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price inched down by US$1.64 per tonne to clock at US$2,162.08 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Monday, July 3, the SHFE aluminium price has hiked by US$9 per tonne or 0.35 per cent to close at US$2,524 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2308 aluminium contract opened at RMB 17,970 per tonne at last Friday’s night session, with its low and high at RMB 17,965 per tonne and RMB 18,045 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,030 per tonne. It rose RMB 40 per tonne or 0.22 per cent.
