Wilson Audio launches Sasha V loudspeaker featuring aerospace-grade aluminium

Wilson Audio has released the Sasha V loudspeakers models, handcrafted using proprietary materials, including the Utah-based company's X-Material, S-Material, and V-Material, as well high-quality elements like carbon fibre, aerospace-grade aluminium, austenitic stainless steel, and gold connections throughout the entire signal path.

Several hardware upgrades are also included in the latest Wilson Audio loudspeaker, including bespoke Wilson Audio multi-connector binding posts with modified knurling for a cleaner signal path, improved resistor mounting hardware with a carbon fibre back plate and aluminium framed glass cover, similar to the Alexia V. The tweeter and midrange resistors have tool-free, quick-release knurled thumbscrews.

The Convergent Synergy Carbon (CSC) tweeter, initially seen in Wilson's Alexx V speakers, is utilised in the Sasha V. According to the manufacturer, the in-house 3D-printed carbon fibre rear-wave chamber has a broad high-frequency frequency range, smooth linearity, and exact high-frequency harmonic expression.

Wilson's 7-inch AlNiCo (Aluminium - Nickel - Cobalt) QuadraMag driver handles the midrange, delivering increased soundstage dimensionality in the middle frequencies to the human ear is most sensitive to. The QuadraMag, previously available in Wilson's Chronosonic XVX, Alexx V, and Alexia V speakers, has become an intrinsic feature of the Sasha V.
