Architectural Glass & Aluminium Group Inc. is moving its Hawaii headquarters to the 677 Ala Moana Building, formerly known as the Gold Bond Building, in Honolulu, landlord Redico said Tuesday.

Architectural Glass & Aluminium, which is headquartered in California, does curtain wall design/manufacturing/installation work for owners, architects and contractors.

The company moved from its current space at 733 Auahi St. in Honolulu.

Chris Knitter, general manager for Architectural Glass & Aluminum, told PBN that the company just grew out of its former space. It's keeping that 1,600 square-foot warehouse space for storage.

“We just needed to get into an office to serve the amount of staff we have,” he said.

Architectural Glass & Aluminum, which has seven employees in its office and numerous workers out in the field, took a 2,600 square-foot of space at the 677 Ala Moana Building.

The lease signing comes just a month after Redico announced its planned multimillion-dollar renovation of the 12-story, 272,191-square-foot mixed use building, which will be using the services of Architectural Glass & Aluminum for design help.
