uCan-Packaging has unveiled a new seamless aluminium bottle design that moves away from the rounded look usually associated with metal packaging.
{alcircleadd}The company’s latest container features sharp flat shoulders with near right-angle edges at the top and bottom, giving it a more structured appearance often seen in luxury glass packaging. The design is being positioned mainly for cosmetic and personal care products, where appearance plays a major role in branding.

Creating that kind of shape with aluminium has traditionally been difficult because metal packaging is produced differently from plastic or glass containers. Rounded forms have generally been easier to manufacture, while sharper lines were considered harder to achieve with aluminium.
A spokesperson for the company said the production process for seamless aluminium packaging is far more complex than standard molding techniques used with other materials, which is why this kind of design has rarely been seen before.
The new bottle line is intended to combine a more premium visual style with the practical advantages of aluminium. The containers are lightweight, resistant to rust and fully recyclable, while also being compatible with different types of closures such as lotion pumps, mist sprayers and screw caps.

uCan-Packaging is also offering several customization options, including matte, metallic and gloss finishes, along with direct printing and embossed textures for branding. Bottle sizes will range from 50 millilitres up to one litre.
The launch comes as more brands in the beauty and personal care sector look for alternatives to plastic packaging while still trying to maintain a high-end appearance on store shelves.
