
The average alumina spot price in China has continued to decrease for the fourth day in a row, found the Shanghai Metals Market. According to SMM data, alumina price has further slipped by RMB 10 per tonne on Friday, November 19, to settle at RMB 3,691 per tonne.

In Shanxi and Guangxi, alumina price has shrunk by RMB 25 per tonne to come in at RMB 3,700 per tonne and RMB 3,550 per tonne, respectively, while the price in Shandong, Henan, and Guizhou has remained restrained at RMB 3,650 per tonne, RMB 3,725 per tonne and RMB 3,590 per tonne, learned SMM.
The Australian alumina FOB price has dipped by US$2 per tonne to stand at US$398 per tonne on November 19.
However, on the other hand, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has put an end to the four consecutive days of decline. On Friday, November 19, the price has grown by RMB 190 per tonne to close at RMB 18,530 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,510 per tonne and RMB 18,550 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 120-80 per tonne.

In Gongyi and Chongqing, A00 aluminium ingot price has recorded an increase of RMB 210 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,560 per tonne. The price in Linyi has also climbed by RMB 210 per tonne but to settle at RMB 18,640 per tonne. In Wuxi and Hangzhou, primary aluminium ingot price has expanded by RMB 200 per tonne and RMB 185 per tonne to RMB 18,540 per tonne and RMB 18,545 per tonne, while the price in Foshan and Shenyang has gained RMB 170 per tonne and RMB 160 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,670 per tonne and RMB 18,540 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has hiked by RMB 200 per tonne to settle at RMB 21,050 per tonne on November 19. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 21,000 per tonne and RMB 21,100 per tonne, learned SMM.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have grown by RMB 100 per tonne to close the week on November 19 at RMB 20,250 per tonne and RMB 21,450 per tonne, respectively.
