Alumina price records a drop of RMB24/t; A00 aluminium ingot price declines after three days

Average spot alumina prices in China witnessed a drop on June 28 to RMB 2841 per tonne. This indicates a decline of RMB 24 per tonne or 0.84 per cent. In East China market spot alumina price decreased to RMB 2850 per tonne.

Average alumina spot price in Central China market stood at RMB 2840 per tonne on June 28, down RMB 30 per tonne from RMB 2870 per tonne. Alumina price in North and South dropped RMB20 per tonne each to stand at RMB2820 per tonne and RMB2895 per tonne.

After a continuous fall for past three days in a row, A00 aluminium ingot price registered a decline of RMB 110 per tonne on Friday, 28 June 2019. A00 aluminium ingot price recorded RMB 13820 per tonne today. The average price is expected to range at RMB13800-13840 per tonne. Spot aluminium price is likely to be traded at a discount of RMB 20 per tonne to premium of RMB 20 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot price in Foshan came in at RMB 13900 per tonne, down RMB 80 per tonne. Ingot price in Wuxi and Hangzhou declined RMB 105 per tonne and RMB 110 per tonne to stand at RMB 13805 per tonne and RMB 13835 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot price in Chongqing, Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi stood at RMB 13840 per tonne, RMB 13805 per tonne, RMB 13820 per tonne, RMB 13830 per tonne and RMB 13730 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price also dropped by RMB 100 per tonne to range at RMB 14000-14200 per tonne as on June 28. The price came in at RMB 14100 per tonne. The last drop was at RMB 14200 per tonne on June 17. The prices of aluminium alloy (A356) and aluminium alloy (A380) stood at RMB 14450 per tonne and RMB 14950 per tonne. Their average price is expected to range at RMB14400- 14500 per tonne and RMB14850- 15050 per tonne.
