Alumina price in China extends drop; A00 aluminium ingot price down by RMB130/t

The average spot alumina price declined by RMB 7 per tonne or 0.27 per cent on Monday, 11 November 2019 from Friday’s price of RMB 2579 per tonne. Alumina price in China stood at RMB 2572 per tonne today.

Alumina prices in East and Central markets fell by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 2590 per tonne each. Their average prices are expected to range at RMB 2580- 2600 per tonne and RMB 2580-2600 per tonne. The alumina prices in North and South remained unchanged at RMB 2570 per tonne and RMB 2520 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price was down by RMB 130 per tonne on Monday, after two days of increase. The price stood at RMB 14100 per tonne and expected to move within a range of RMB 14080-14120 per tonne. Spot aluminium price is likely to be traded at a discount of RMB 90-50 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price was up by RMB 50 per tonne or 0.35 per cent on Monday. The price increased from RMB 14400 per tonne to RMB 14450 per tonne. The price is expected to range at RMB 14350 per tonne-14550 per tonne.

The prices of aluminium alloys in East, South, and West stood at RMB 14450 per tonne, RMB 14400 per tonne, and RMB 14150 per tonne, up RMB50 per tonne each. Aluminium alloy (A380) price was up by RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 15200 per tonne on Monday, 11 November 2019. The price is expected to range at RMB 15100-15300 per tonne. But Aluminium alloy (A356) price dropped by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 14800 per tonne.
