ALUEXPO 2013 “3rd Aluminium Technology, Machinery and Products Trade Fair” will be organized in Istanbul Expo Center on October 3-6, 2013.
Supported by TALSAD-Turkish Aluminium Industrialists Association, which is the preeminent association of the Turkish Aluminium industry, ALUEXPO 2013 brings together the leading specialists of the industry, as well as 150 international companies from 31 countries that want to take advantage of the potential opportunities of Turkey for new investments and 159 local companies which want to cooperate with different countries. More than 10.000 visitors are expected to visit Aluexpo Fair where the exhibits will be available on 8700 m² net stand area over 20.000 m² exhibition venue.
Aluexpo is supported by 48 institutions including associations, universities and sectorial journals. Being the sole fair of the aluminium sector in Turkey and also the most important fair of the Eurasia region, ALUEXPO 2013 will provide the opportunity for the leading producers of our country to introduce aluminium solutions to any kind of engineering applications as well as all requirements ranging from primary aluminium to any kind of semi-finished and finished aluminium products, aluminium building systems, facing and roofing materials, to designers, engineers, architects, as well as to the companies operating in the fields such as construction, automotive, package, food and beverage, aviation and defense, transportation, shipping, chemistry and etc. in which aluminium products are mostly used.
Global and local suppliers to Aluminium Industry will be displaying all requirements of the industry like refractories, machinery, equipment, raw materials and consumable materials that are used in aluminium production in order to meet all needs of the producers of the Eurasia Region.

Ali Kibar, Chairman of TALSAD, has shared his views on developments of the aluminium industry prior to exhibition “Our industry showed a steady growth of around 10-15 % in previous years. The increase in the production of white and brown goods and automotive industry where the aluminum is used most is the main factor of growth and with an increasing trend, the importance and the development of our aluminium industry is increased day by day through exporting semi-products (mid-products), and other various products particularly to Europe and other foreign markets" he said.

By indicating that ALUEXPO gathers all the aluminum sector in Turkey under the same roof and is the most important trade fair in Eurasia Region, Ali Kibar has also expressed his views as “Aluexpo is the only promotion platform of our country and the greatest in Eurasia for Turkish Aluminium Industry that is qualified as a very important production center rising up to 7th in export of profile and 12th in export of flat products in the world.”
Aluminum industry experts will meet in “6th Aluminum Symposium”
During 6th Aluminium Symposium which is organized concurrently to Aluexpo 2013 in cooperation with TALSAD (Turkish Aluminium Industrialists Association), TUBITAK MAM (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, Marmara Research Center), and the Chamber of Metallurgical Engineers will bring together the industry's experts, academic world and representatives of NGOs.
