On December 1, 2025, Anthony Evans, after the appointment, took the seat as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alucast. With his in-depth knowledge, expertise and leadership attributes, he has marked a significant position within the casting community.
Previously, Mr Evans has shared his expertise for many years at Alumasc PLC. Over there, he has served and undertaken crucial foundry management roles spanning the entire UK, which also included Burton Latimer & Copal Castings and in China.
After this, he also held some business development positions in Sarginsons and JH Lavenders before he was named Sarginsons Ltd’s Managing Director and Chairman.

Apart from the leadership skills, he has also acquired his own foundry consultancy and has been working on building strong industry networks while serving as the ex-President of the Institute of Cast Metals Engineers (ICME).
This appointment has been strategically done by the company to enhance the growth, especially within the aluminium casting required in the high-tech sectors.
