Alba wins best company for investor relations in Bahrain

Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) won the Best Company for Investor Relations in Bahrain Award for the third consecutive year at the Middle East Investor Relations Society (ME-IR) Annual Conference and Awards 2013, which took place recently in Dubai at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, DIFC.

The Middle East Investor Relations Society's (ME-IR Society) Annual Conference and Awards is a prestigious event and recognises the region's best performers who play a critical role in the field of investor relations. This year's survey included 138 of the largest listed companies from nine countries in the Middle East and North African Region.

The company's Investor Relations Department - under the direction of Alba's Manager for Investor Relations, Eline Hilal - was recognised for its excellent investor relations and initiatives.

Commenting on the win at the Middle East Investor Relations Society's (ME-IR Society) Annual Conference and Awards 2013, Alba's Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray said:

The Middle East Investor Relations Society's (ME-IR Society) Annual Conference and Awards - held for the fifth successive year - is the largest IR focused event in the Middle East and representatives from listed and unlisted firms, family offices, stock exchanges, regulatory bodies, regulatory bodies as well as investors, analysts and advisors from across the region participate in this event.
