Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba)'s commitment to broadening the benefits of state-of-the-art cardiac care treatment to Bahrain residents and supporting the development of advanced health care services in the kingdom provided the key incentive behind Alba's recent donation towards Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Cardiac Centre.

The Chairman of Alba's Board of Directors, Mahmood Hashim Al Kooheji met the Director of the Centre, Dr. Raisan Hamood Al Badran in early May to present the cheque on Alba's behalf as well as assure Alba's continuing support to the Centre.

The Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Cardiac Centre - part of the Bahrain Defence Force Hospital (BDF) - has a well established reputation for its highly specialised cardiac care facilities, the latest technology in cardiac care, and an expert team of qualified and experienced consultants on board.

Commenting on Alba's donation to the BDF's Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Cardiac Centre, the Chairman of Alba's Board of Directors, Mahmood Hashim Al Kooheji said, "Over the past forty years, Alba has remained committed to support any initiatives that enrich the quality of life for Bahrain residents. We see it as part of our responsibilities as a true corporate citizen, and hence, it gives us immense pride to provide our continuing support to the Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Cardiac Centre for its key role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac patients in Bahrain. It also enables us to extend our backing to the development of advanced health care services in Bahrain."

The Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Cardiac Centre serves adults and pediatric patients with diagnostic and interventional cardiology services as well as closed and open heart surgery procedures. The Cardiac Centre offers a full range of the highly common to the extremely complex diagnostic and treatment services for adults, infants, children and teenagers with congenital heart diseases.
