A00 aluminium ingot price in China grows by RMB50/t to RMB 18,440/t; Alumina price went down by RMB2/t

On Thursday, October 20, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China hikes by RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,440 per tonne. The average price for the same is likely to range between RMB 18,420 per tonne and RMB 18,460 per tonne, with the spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 0 to RMB 40 per tonne.

The prices in Foshan and Chongqing have ascended by RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,560 per tonne and RMB 18,580 per tonne. In Wuxi, Hangzhou and Shenyang, the A00 aluminium ingot price closed at RMB 18,450 per tonne, RMB 18,470 per tonne and RMB 18,420 per tonne after witnessing a growth of RMB 50 per tonne. As per the data, in Gongyi and Linyi, the prices increased by RMB 30 per tonne to record at RMB 18,430 per tonne and RMB 18,500 per tonne. In Tianjin, the price went up by RMB 18,420 per tonne.

The average alumina spot price has gone down by RMB 2 per tonne to clock at RMB 2,810 per tonne. The alumina price has remained restrained in most provinces, except Guizhou and Guangxi. In Guangxi, the price has slipped by RMB 10 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,770 per tonne. And in Guizhou, the alumina price has shrunk by RMB 5 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,780 per tonne.

On the same day, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has gone up by RMB 95 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,168 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has climbed up by RMB 50 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,950 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne. However, both aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price has shown no change to settle at RMB 19,350 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne.
