
After showing restraint and declining in the past two days, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has recorded an increase of RMB 140 per tonne to RMB 18,180 per tonne, as of Thursday, April 22, according to the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,160 per tonne and RMB 18,200 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of 20-20 per tonne.

In Hangzhou, A00 aluminium ingot price has also climbed by RMB 140 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,195 per tonne, while the price in Wuxi has grown by RMB 125 per tonne to RMB 18,175 per tonne. In Chongqing and Shenyang, primary aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 120 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,150 per tonne and RMB 18,160 per tonne, respectively. In Gongyi and Foshan, primary aluminium price has expanded by RMB 110 per tonne and RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,040 per tonne and RMB 18,220 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi, however, A00 aluminium ingot price has decreased by RMB 80 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,030 per tonne and RMB 18,010 per tonne, respectively.
Backed on the increase in primary aluminium ingot price, aluminium alloy (A356) price has gained RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,850 per tonne on April 22, found SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,800 per tonne and RMB 18,900 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have, however, still remained unchanged at RMB 18,050 per tonne and RMB 19,050 per tonne.
Among the primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.20 per kg to stand at RMB 21.75 per kg, with average prices likely to range between RMB 21.70 per kg and RMB 21.80 per kg.
