
According to Shanghai Metals Market, the A00 aluminium ingot price has recorded a decline for the second consecutive day of RMB 60 per tonne to stand at RMB 13,910 per tonne, as of Friday, June 19. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 13,890 per tonne and RMB 13,930 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 160-200 per tonne.

Hangzhou, Shenyang, and Linyi have seen the highest decline today of A00 aluminium ingot price among the major Chinese markets by RMB 70 per tonne to stand at RMB 13,920 per tonne, RMB 13,855 per tonne, and RMB 13,840 per tonne, respectively. Foshan, Wuxi, and Chongqing have seen a plunge of RMB 60 per tonne to, respectively, hover at RMB 14,000 per tonne, RMB 13,910 per tonne, and RMB 13,870 per tonne. In Gongyi, the price has decreased by RMB 45 per tonne to RMB 13,835 per tonne, while that in Tianjin has dwindled by RMB 30 per tonne to RMB 13,910 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has registered a decline as well of RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 14,550 per tonne, found Shanghai Metals Market. Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price, however, have remained restrained at RMB 13,950 per tonne and RMB 14,850 per tonne.
As far as the input costs are concerned, alumina, bauxite, and prebaked anode have recorded no change in their respective prices of RMB 2,261 per tonne, RMB 540 per tonne, RMB 2,670 per tonne, found SMM data on June 19. Only the price of aluminium powder has slipped for the second consecutive day by RMB 0.1 per kg or 0.57 per cent to stand at RMB 17.45 per kg.
